Beaded Gekos

First day of half term and as promised I will be uploading some half term beading ideas and maybe some other creative projects to keep the children amused.Watch this space or follow me on facebook so that you don't miss out!

Day 1 : Gekos

Always popular and so easy to do once you get the hang of it.These little ones are about 7cm by 3.5cm and are made with beading weaving wire
and Miyuki 6/0 seed beads.Once you get the hang of it ,try making it in tiny beads as well and have a whole family of lizards...the tiny ones are approx 5cm in length and perfect for hanging off school planners or on rucksacks.

I have written out the full instructions with photos in the following PDF File

I have also put together a half term holiday kit which includes all the beads and wire you need to make a whole bunch of lizards as well as other items - it includes this geko instruction leaflet as well as an ice cream template.

Please feel free to print off the instructions but they are for your own use only and not for commercial purposes. If you want to use it for your own networking sites please credit me with a link back to this blog Thank you and enjoy your beading...any queries or questions  please e mail sales@rockchique.co.uk and I will get back to you asap and if you would like to share your creations do feel free to upload them onto the Rockchique facebook page

Happy Beading
Stella
